About SmartMOMS

SmartMOMS is a web app that was developed and evaluated with the support of the Damp Foundation at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf, in close cooperation with scientists from the Free University of Berlin.

 Who we are

Our team consists of experienced psychologists from Hamburg and Berlin, all of whom have the common goal of using digital technologies to improve the care options for women with postpartum depression. Together we want to raise awareness of the often taboo subject of postpartum depression and make it more transparent.

Our Team

Our team consists of psychologists and researchers from the “Prevention in Childhood and Adolescence” working group at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (project leader PD Dr. Silke Pawils, M.Sc. Maren Schäfer, M.Sc. Viola Loew) and from the Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy department of the Free University of Berlin (Prof. Dr. Babette Renneberg, M.Sc. Daria Dähn, B.Sc. Sophie Rudolf). We combine our collective knowledge to provide digital support for women with postpartum depression.
